YOUTH & ADOLESCENCE
Nurturing young minds
We can help children over 5 years old address the many challenges they can face as part of growing up in today’s world. For younger children, for example, we can provide support with challenges such as sleep issues, food phobias and bed-wetting. For older children, we can help with anxiety, self-esteem and peer problems through to study skills and exam focus, providing a safe space for personal growth and resilience during this formative stage of life.
TRAUMA & PTSD
Freedom and healing
We can use hypnotherapy, alongside other therapeutic approaches, such as the Rewind technique to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences by addressing the subconscious impact of trauma and facilitating emotional resolution without having to re-live it. We can help the brain to process the events causing distress so that a person is free to move forwards positively with life.

The 28 Day Rule
Embedding new habits in the brain typically takes around four weeks due to the way our brains adapt and rewire themselves. Habits are formed through a process called neuroplasticity, which involves the creation and strengthening of neural pathways in the brain.
When we engage in a new behaviour consistently over time, the brain begins to establish connections between the associated neurons. Initially, these connections are weak and easily disrupted. However, with repetition and reinforcement, the neural pathways become more robust and efficient.
The four-week timeframe is an approximation based on research and observations of habit formation. It is commonly referred to as the “21-day rule” or “28-day rule.” During this period, the brain undergoes structural and functional changes, optimizing the efficiency of the neural circuits involved in the new habit.
Repeating new behaviour consistently over this timeframe allows the brain to strengthen the connections associated with the habit, making it easier and more automatic to perform. This process involves the release of neurotransmitters and the reinforcement of synaptic connections, effectively rewiring the brain to support the new habit.
